Thuy My Do named student advisor at Bates College

Thuy My Do, the daughter of My Phuc Bui of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Van Thanh Do, also of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is serving as a Residence Coordinator for the 2015-16 academic year at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She is a 2012 graduate of the American International School.

As part of her Residence Coordinator role with the college's Office of Student Affairs, Do is advising first-year students on academic and social issues, while also facilitating student engagement through programs and volunteer opportunities, both on- and off-campus. She is majoring in politics at Bates.
