Sam Polito named to 2015 NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship team

Sam Polito, a member of the men's soccer team at Bates College, has been named to the 2015 Fall All-Sportsmanship team by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.

The NESCAC All-Sportsmanship team is composed of one student athlete from each institution for each sport, and members are selected by the players and coaches from each team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship. The student-athlete selected must be in good academic standing and a member of the team at the conclusion of the season in order to be eligible for selection.

Polito, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Polito of Topanga, Calif. and Jamie A. Leiss of Far Hills, N.J., is a 2012 graduate of Bernards High School. He majors in economics at Bates.
