Ridgewood native Jack Allard named Honorable Mention All-American

2015 Jun 4

Jack Allard, a junior attacker on the Bates College men's lacrosse team, has been named a Division III Honorable Mention All-American by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Allard is only the seventh All-American in the team's history.

Allard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew B. Allard of Ridgewood, N.J., is a 2012 graduate of Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, N.J.

Allard ranked fourth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference in goals per game (2.71), fifth in points per game (3.59) and 23rd in assists (15), all career-high numbers. Allard had seven games this season with five or more points; some of his biggest games coincided with Bates' biggest games, such as his four goals and one assist in an upset win over unbeaten and defending national champion Tufts University on April 7.
