Isaiah Rice participates in Bates College Junior Year Abroad program

Isaiah Rice, the child of Mr. Roderick L. Gathright and Ms. Samuella Gathright of Dallas, Texas, and a 2011 graduate of Warren T. White High School, is participating in the 2013-14 Bates College Junior Year Abroad program.

Rice, who is majoring in dance and politics at Bates, is studying in Atlanta, Georgia, through the Morehouse College Exchange program.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and Bates offers access to study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
