Glemont native Moriah Greenstein named DIII All-American

Moriah Greenstein, a junior attacker on the women's lacrosse team at Bates College, was named a 2015 Division III Third Team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association. She was also a First Team All-Region and First Team All-NESCAC selection this year.

Greenstein, the daughter of Mr. Lee D. Greenstein and Ms. Amy D. Schallop of Glenmont, N.Y., is a 2012 graduate of Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, N.Y.

Greenstein is one of the league's most prolific scorers. Since her sophomore season, she ranks third in the NESCAC in assists (24), fourth in points (58) and is tied for fifth in goals (34). Season highlights for Greenstein included four goals and one assist in a 9-8 upset of 10th-ranked Colby College, two goals and six assists in a win at Wesleyan University, and four goals and three assists in a win over Connecticut College.

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association will honor the National All-Americans at a banquet on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.
