Filip Michalsky participates in Bates College Junior Year Abroad program

Filip Michalsky, the child of Dr. David Michalsky and Dr. Dana Michalska of Prague, the Czech Republic, and a 2011 graduate of Gymnasium Budejovicka, is participating in the 2013-14 Bates College Junior Year Abroad program.

Michalsky, who is majoring in mathematics and chemistry at Bates, is studying in Munich, Germany, through Wayne State University.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and Bates offers access to study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
