Hannah Jeffrey, a junior goalkeeper on the Bates College women's lacrosse team, was named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association Division III First Team All-American. She is the first Bates lacrosse player to be named to the first team since 1994.

Jeffrey, the daughter of Laurie G. Jeffrey of Cos Cob, Conn. and Richard R. Jeffrey of Greenwich, Conn., is a 2012 graduate of Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Conn.

She was named Third Team All-America as a sophomore, as well as First Team All-NESCAC, ranked first in the conference this season in saves (138) and second in save percentage (.527).

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association will honor the National All-Americans at a banquet on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.
