Claire Brown studying abroad for 2015-16 winter semester at Bates College

Claire Brown, the daughter of Mr. Milton J. Brown and Ms. Elna R. Drava of Rockville Centre, N.Y., is studying abroad during the 2015-16 winter semester through the Bates College Junior Year Abroad program.

Brown, a 2013 graduate of South Side High School, is studying in the United Kingdom. She is majoring in politics at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates juniors study abroad, and Bates offers access to study-abroad programs in more than 60 countries.
