Bates student Rebecca Schwartz participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Rebecca Schwartz of West Hartford, Connecticut, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Austria as a participant in the IES study abroad program in Vienna.

Schwartz, a 2012 graduate of Hall High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark S. Schwartz of West Hartford, Connecticut. She is majoring in American cultural studies at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
