Bates student Rachel Neckes participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Rachel Neckes of Needham, Massachusetts, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in the Czech Republic as a participant in the CIEE study abroad program in Prague.

Neckes, a 2012 graduate of Needham High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Neckes of Needham, Massachusetts. She is majoring in philosophy at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
