Bates student Lindsey Prelgovisk participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Lindsey Prelgovisk of Oakland, Maine, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Italy as a participant in the Syracuse University program in Florence.

Prelgovisk, a 2012 graduate of Messalonskee High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Prelgovisk of Oakland, Maine. She is majoring in art and visual culture at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
