Bates student Jason Stephansky receives fall 2013 NESCAC All-Academic honors

Jason Stephansky, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark E. Stephansky of Whitman, Mass., and a member of the men's soccer team at Bates College, received New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Academic distinction for the fall 2013 season. To receive NESCAC All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.

A 2011 graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in Whitman Mass., Stephansky is majoring in biological chemistry at Bates.
