Bates student Hannah Jeffrey participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Hannah Jeffrey of Cos Cob, Connecticut, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Italy as a participant in the Syracuse University program in Florence.

Jeffrey, a 2012 graduate of Greenwich High School, is the daughter of Laurie G. Jeffrey of Cos Cob, Connecticut, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Jeffrey of Greenwich, Connecticut. She is majoring in mathematics at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
