Bates student Grace Wright participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Grace Wright of Amherst, Massachusetts, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Nepal as a participant in the SIT study abroad program in Kathmandu.

Wright, a 2012 graduate of Rutland High School, is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James M. Wright of Amherst, Massachusetts. She is majoring in mathematics at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
