Bates student Cora Hirschfeld participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Cora Hirschfeld of Hopkinton, New Hampshire, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Cameroon as a participant in the SIT study abroad program in Yaounde.

Hirschfeld, a 2012 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, is the daughter of Mr. A. Robert Hirschfeld and Mrs. Polly M. Ingraham of Hopkinton, New Hampshire. She is majoring in anthropology at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
