Bates student Britta Clark participates in fall 2014 study abroad program

Bates student Britta Clark of Ripton, Vermont, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Sweden as a participant in the Swedish study abroad program in Stockholm.

Clark, a 2012 graduate of Middlebury Union High School, is the daughter of Shari M. Brown of Ripton, Vermont, and Anthony G. Clark of Goshen, Vermont. She is majoring in environmental studies and philosophy at Bates.

About 60 percent of Bates students study abroad, and the college offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching study-abroad programs in more than 80 countries.
