Bates graduate Patrick Tolosky awarded a Fulbright grant

Bates College graduate and Longmeadow, Massachusetts native, Patrick Tolosky, has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to support an academic year abroad in Spain.

Tolosky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark R. Tolosky of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, is a 2011 graduate of Suffield Academy. At Bates, Tolosky majored in Spanish.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is funded primarily by the U.S. Department of State and sends some 1,500 citizens abroad each year to more than 155 countries. With 45 graduates having received Fulbrights in the past four years, Bates is a "top producer" of Fulbright U.S. Student grants, ranking among the top 10 U.S. bachelor's degree colleges.
