Bantu Mabaso named student advisor at Bates College

Bantu Mabaso, the daughter of Sanelisiwe G. Diamini of Mpaka, Swaziland, is serving as a Junior Advisor for the 2015-16 academic year at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She is a 2013 graduate of Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa.

As part of her Junior Advisor role with the college's Office of Student Affairs, Mabaso is advising first-year students on academic and social issues, while also facilitating student engagement through programs and volunteer opportunities, both on- and off-campus.
