Alyssa Morgosh awarded NESCAC All-Academic honors

Alyssa Morgosh, a member of the Women's Indoor Track & Field team at Bates College, received New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Academic distinction for the winter 2015 season. To receive NESCAC All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.

Morgosh, the daughter of Lisa M. Frazee of Oceanside, California and Mr. and Mrs. R. Scott Morgosh of Carlsbad, California, is a 2011 graduate of the Bishop's School. She majors in chemistry and psychology at Bates.

"The fall and winter sports programs at Bates have achieved notable competitive success this year," said Kevin McHugh, director of athletics at Bates. "It is very gratifying to see the NESCAC All-Academic citations and the recognition that our student-athletes have performed equally well in the classroom."
