Allen Kendunga named student advisor at Bates College

Allen Kendunga, the daughter of Joselyn Nyamwiza of Kigali, Rwanda, is serving as a Junior Advisor for the 2015-16 academic year at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She is a 2014 graduate of the Bridge2Rwanda Scholars Program.

As part of her Junior Advisor role with the college's Office of Student Affairs, Kendunga is advising first-year students on academic and social issues, while also facilitating student engagement through programs and volunteer opportunities, both on- and off-campus.
